A family business founded in 1992 in Barcelona, ​​Caganer is currently run by the second generation of the Alós Pla family, brothers Marc and Sergi. And, truly, we're more than just a company; we're all like a small family. Our entire professional team is the true value of Caganer. With several physical stores throughout Spain, we also sell internationally through our online shop. And, while we consider ourselves guardians of tradition, we always keep up with trends and strive to continue innovating.

Catalan roots
At Caganer, we're Catalan, but we're also citizens of the world! We can't deny that our brand is linked to Catalan culture and tradition, and we'd like the Caganer character and its story to reach as many people as possible. In fact, that's what we strive for every single day. If our brand were a tree, its roots would undoubtedly be Catalan, but each branch would grow to expand to infinity and share the joy with the rest of the planet.

Our figurines are the result of meticulous craftsmanship. From the initial creation to the final painting, each piece is individually crafted by professionals before reaching our stores. We use molds to shape the locally sourced clay and hand-paint each one. For all these reasons, we have earned the D'A Quality Seal, awarded by the Generalitat of Catalonia, which certifies the artisanal origin of our products. Incidentally, any slight asymmetry you might notice in some of the figurines is proof that they are not mass-produced by machines. And we believe that these details make them even more special!
OWN WORKSHOP
Our R&D center is located in Torroella de Montgrí, Girona. From within our "workshop of illusions," each Caganer is lovingly finished and then destined for our shops, where it will bring smiles to its new owners. Thus, from Catalonia to the rest of the world, we spread a little bit of magic and wonder through each of the figures we handcraft here every day.
