THE ORIGIN OF OUR BRAND, CAGANER

Caganer is a family brand with origins in Catalonia, specifically between Barcelona and Torroella de Montgrí (Girona).

Currently, the second generation of the family that follows this tradition, the Alós Pla brothers, are in charge of leading our company, the only one in the world specializing in the artisanal creation of the famous Caganers. 

Each season, our team meets to decide which personalities are the most prominent on the international scene, and that's how we create new figures according to the latest trends.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO AUTHENTICITY AND INNOVATION

Our Caganers are created with high-quality materials and have the official artisan product certification, awarded by the Generalitat of Catalonia. We have achieved this distinction by producing our figures using locally sourced clay and painting them by hand, one by one.

While respecting traditional manufacturing processes, we also like to innovate and are gradually incorporating products made with new materials such as resin and 3D printing. However, you will always see these clearly distinguished in our stores, and they represent only a small part of our catalog.

FROM CATALONIA TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

At first, we only sold our products at temporary stalls during Christmas, but with our online store, you can now receive them all year round anywhere, with all the guarantees of our eCommerce.

And, apart from the online store, you can also buy original Caganers in our own physical retail establishments open to the public in very central areas of Barcelona, ​​Madrid and Bilbao. 

Furthermore, as a brand we aim to expand further and will soon be opening new points of sale, because we love that you can see all our creations up close in the stores and catch our good vibes.
