Caganer Nicolas Maduro

Nicolás Maduro, a former trade union leader and Minister of Foreign Affairs for more than six years, is a politician who has been the President of Venezuela since assuming office in 2013, preceded by Hugo Chávez. Foreseeing the national shock that followed after the death of the previous leader -in charge of the country for 14 years- and the lack of a political authority, Maduro took over the government’s power and made a commitment to the country. The command of the current president gives rise to social controversy around the world; Venezuela is undergoing a strong food crisis that leads to street protests and questions the future of those Venezuelans claiming for an imminent change.
