Casteller Verde

For castellers, building a three-person tower is a piece of cake. However, if the casteller supporting the tower is also acting as a caganer (a figure representing a person who defecates), things get complicated! With this caganer, we want to pay tribute to all those who, for two hundred years, have kept the casteller tradition alive, a tradition recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since November 16, 2010. Here, the castellers wear the green color worn by the Castellers de Vilafranca and the Castellers de Sabadell.
