Caganer Barça's Grandpa

The character created by the cartoonist Valenti Castanys represents the culture of the Barcelona Football Club in the same way that Uncle Sam represents the United States. It made its first appearance on October 29th 1924 in Xut! Magazine and since 1984 has been given life through the hand of Joan Casals, a member of the Club Azulgrana of Guardiola of Berguda. It is dressed in the traditional manner and characterizes Avi del Barca: with shirts from the 60s and 70s with old style pants as well. It also wears the traditional beret.
