Jordi Turull is a Catalan politician associated with the Catalan European Democratic Party (PDeCAT). The charming character of Cagatió is depicted as a wooden log with a smiling face drawn on it. Like the Caganer, it wears the typical barretina (the traditional Catalan hat) and is usually half-covered with a checkered blanket. Legend has it that, in December, if you welcome a Cagatió into your home, the children in your household should be responsible for feeding and giving it drink every day.
