Never too far from Mario -the most iconic Italian plumber in the video game industry- there is always his younger and taller brother, Luigi. Those two help each other in a hostile world -except for the coins, the smiling stars, the mushrooms and the pipes- in which the same music sounds endlessly and not a single castle houses the proper princess. Although initially Luigi was designed so Mario could be played as by the second, third, or fourth player, over time he has become a well known character and is now part of the dearest protagonists of Nintendo.
